I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week in Philadelphia

9/8/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 for
various
construction activities between the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue and
Allegheny Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

On Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 8:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
intermittent double lane closures are scheduled on northbound and
southbound
I-95 for removal of construction barrier, paving and line painting at the
Betsy
Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue Interchange.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the
work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The activities at the interchanges are part of the $160.2 million project
to
rebuild ramps and improve connections at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange.
The
electronic sign structure is being replaced under PennDOT's initiative to
update Intelligent Transportation Systems' (ITS) equipment on I-95 and
other
regional highways.
