Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Tree Removal
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Daytime travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state
highways
in the Philadelphia region, for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,

lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Upper Tinicum Church Road
at
Red Cliff Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, September 18, through Wednesday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 113 (Kimberton
Road/Pike Springs Road) between Pikeland Road and Hares Hill Road in West
Pikeland and East Pikeland townships, Chester County;
• Monday September 18, through Thursday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 from
the
Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) Interchange to just east of the Route 282
(Wallace
Avenue) Interchange in West Whiteland and East Caln townships, Chester
County;
• Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge
Road)
between Beidler Road and Moore Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery
County;
• Tuesday, September 19, through Thursday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road)
between Vickers Way and Black Rock Road in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks
County;
• Wednesday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Gulph Road between Crooked Lane and Henderson
Road in
Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, September 20, through Friday, September 22, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road)
between Lodi Hill Road and Berm Lane in Bridgeton Township, Bucks County;
• Thursday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Sugartown Road between Goshen Road and Providence

Road in Willistown Township, Chester County; and
• Friday, September 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Warren Avenue between Shepherd Road and Andrews
Road
in Willistown Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
