I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week at Betsy Ross Bridge
Interchange in Philadelphia

Intermittent single and double lane closures are scheduled on northbound
and
southbound Interstate 95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue
Interchange
in Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 27, through Friday, September 29,
from
8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for paving, line painting and
other
construction activities, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.

In addition, the off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Bridge Street will be
reduced
from two-lanes-to-one on Monday, September 25, through Thursday, September
28,
from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for installation of two sign
structures.

And the off-ramp from southbound I-95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge will be
reduced
from two-lanes-to-one on Tuesday, September 26, through Friday, September
29,
from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for installation of an
overhead
sign, removal of construction barrier and line striping.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the
work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The work is part of the $160.2 million project to rebuild ramps and improve

connections between I-95, the Betsy Ross Bridge and Aramingo Avenue.
