Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) for
Large Sign Maintenance in Delaware County
9/1/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA
Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on U.S. 1 (Baltimore
Pike) between Route 352 (Middletown Road) and Route 320 (Sproul Road) in
Middletown, Upper Providence and Marple townships, Delaware County, for
large
sign maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area.
The schedule is weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is repairing and replacing parts
and
making repairs to large sign structures in various boroughs and townships
throughout Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in late May 2018.

contractor on the $2,122,200 project, which is financed with 100 percent
