Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Route 309 and U.S. 1 for Guide
Rail Repair in Montgomery and Bucks Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Route 309 in Montgomery
County,
and U.S. 1 in Bucks County, for guide rail repair, the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, October 9, through Wednesday, October 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
the right lane is scheduled to close on southbound Route 309 between
Sycamore
Avenue and Route 611 (Old York Road) in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery
County;
and
• Monday, October 9, through Wednesday, October 11, from 10:00 AM to 12:00
PM,
a single lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 between the Penndel
and
Morrisville interchanges in Middletown and Falls townships, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
