Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Three State Highways in Delaware and
Montgomery Counties for Utility Installations

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning travel restrictions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster
Avenue)
and Springfield Road in Delaware County, and North Gulph Road in Montgomery

County, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule is:

• Thursday, September 8, and Friday, September 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between
Ithan Avenue and Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) in Radnor Township, Delaware
County, for a fire hydrant installation;

• Monday, September 19, through Friday, April 7, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
Springfield Road is scheduled to close weekdays between Saxer Avenue and
Oak
Avenue in Springfield and Upper Darby townships, and Clifton Heights
Borough,
Delaware County, for a water main installation. During the weekday closure,

Springfield Road through traffic will be detoured over Saxer Avenue,
Baltimore
Pike and Oak Avenue; and

• Monday, September 19, through Friday, October 21, from 8:00 PM to 6:00
AM,
North Gulph Road is scheduled to close weeknights between Freedom Drive and

Guthrie Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, for a water main
installation. During the weeknight closure, traffic will be detoured over
First
Avenue, Allendale Road and U.S. 202 (DeKalb Pike).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas. Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these utility improvement projects
under
a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
