U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) Restrictions Overnights Next Week in
Philadelphia for Resurfacing

9/23/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled next week on northbound and
southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Rhawn Street and Strahle
Street
in Philadelphia, for resurfacing, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation
(PennDOT) said today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, September 26, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane

restrictions are scheduled on the express lanes on northbound and
southbound
U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Rhawn Street and Strahle Street; and

• Tuesday, September 27, through Thursday, September 29, from 7:00 PM to
5:00
AM the following morning, the express lanes are scheduled to close on
northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Rhawn Street
and
Strahle Street. During this operation, all local lanes on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt

Boulevard) will remain open to traffic, and express lane traffic will be
diverted onto the local lanes in the construction area.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on U.S. 1
(Roosevelt Boulevard) near the construction area because backups will
occur.
The operation is dependent on the weather.
