Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Route 452 (Pennell Road) in
Middletown Township, Delaware County

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 452 (Pennell Road) between
Paramount
Road and Glendale Boulevard in Middletown Township, Delaware County, on
Monday,
September 26, through Wednesday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for

bridge construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
said today. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

The work is part of a $6.6 million improvement project by Delaware County
to
construct a multi-use pedestrian trail with roadway crossings along the
Chester Creek Pedestrian Trail in Aston and Middletown townships. The
project
is scheduled to be completed in late fall 2016.

J.D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on
the
project which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
