NWS Weather Briefing Fri Sept 2, 5PM

Attached is the latest weather briefing from the US National Weather Service in Mount Holly

 

Key Updates

        Hermine has made landfall and is currently over South Carolina

        The storm is expected to intensify back to a hurricane Monday afternoon off the Delaware cost

        The storm track is headed more to the east, reducing the forecasted rain for Chester County

        Please continue to closely monitor this system as it moves north this weekend.

 

Chester County Forecasted Impacts:

        Rain:

o   Rain is expected to begin on Saturday late evening and continue through Monday or Tuesday.

o   Chester County is forecasted to get less than 0.25 inches of rain between now and 2pm on Monday

o   The primary flooding hazard will be street and flash flooding.
