PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Installations in Chester and Delaware Counties

PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Installations in Chester and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on several state highways in Chester and Delaware counties on Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22, for gas line installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

 Weather permitting, the work locations are:
  • Reeceville Road between Freedom Boulevard and Caln Meetinghouse Road in West Brandywine Township, Chester County;
  • Landover Road between Gaynor Road and Haverford Road in Haverford Township, Delaware County; 
  • Brinton Lake Road between Denise Drive and Elaine Drive in Thornbury Township, Delaware County; and
  • Sproul Road between Kirk Avenue and Summit Avenue in Marple Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
