PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 1 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

U.S. 1 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways will be restricted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, in Delaware, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Southbound U.S. 1 between the Interstate 476 and U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) interchanges in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County;
  • Route 32 (River Road) between Cuttalossa Road and Greenhill Road in Solebury Township, Bucks County; and
  • 84th Street between Bartram Avenue and Lindbergh Boulevard in Philadelphia. 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur during these operations. All scheduled operations are weather dependent.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
