King of Prussia, PA – U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) is among three state highways scheduled to be restricted next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for tree trimming operations in Delaware and Bucks counties, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, April 1, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Newportville Road at Nichol Avenue in Bristol Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, a single lane closure is planned on northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between Ridley Creek Road and Interstate 476 in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County; and
  • Tuesday, April 2, through Friday, April 5, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Bristol Oxford Valley Road between Trenton Road and Terrace Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur during these tree operations. All operations are weather dependent.
