PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 100 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 100 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the Philadelphia region. The roadways include:

Bucks County
  • U.S. 1 in Middletown, Lower Makefield, Falls townships, Morrisville Borough;
  • U.S. 1, I-95, I-295 ramps in Middletown, Lower Makefield townships;
  • Route 32 (River Road) in Morrisville Borough;
  • Route 213 (Maple Avenue/Bridgetown Pike) in Lower Southampton, Middletown townships, Langhorne Borough;
  • Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in Quakertown Borough, Milford Township;
  • Route 332 (Bypass /Afton Avenue) in Yardley Borough;
  • Route 412 (Durham Road) in Springfield Township; 
  • Route 413 (Durham Road) in Newtown Township;
  • Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue) in Hulmeville, Penndel boroughs;

  • Interstate 476 in West Conshohocken Borough, Lower Merion, Plymouth townships;
  • U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) in Upper Merion Township;
  • U.S. 422 in West Pottsgrove, Lower Pottsgrove, Lower Providence townships;
  • Neiffer Road in Limerick Township;
  • Linfield Trappe Road in Limerick Township;
  • South Park Road in Lower Providence Township;
  • Germantown Pike in Plymouth, Whitemarsh townships;
  • Matsonford Road in West Conshohocken Borough, Upper Merion, Lower Merion townships;
  • Elm Street in Plymouth Township;

  • Veree Avenue;
  • Rising Sun Avenue;
  • Cheltenham Avenue
  • Crescentville Road;
  • B Street/Whitaker Avenue;

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on "Submit Roadway Feedback."

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
