Upper Southampton Authority to Restrict Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) Weeknights for Utility Installation in Bucks County

​King of Prussia, PA – The Upper Southampton Township Authority is planning weeknight lane closures with flagging on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) between Knowles Avenue and Madison Avenue in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County, beginning Wednesday, March 27, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the restrictions will be in place weeknights from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM through late May.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work area because backups and delays may occur.

Upper Southampton will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
