PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility Improvements in Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties

PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility Improvements in Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Montgomery, Bucks and Chester counties, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, March 25, Route 29 (Gravel Pike) between Memorial Drive and Washington Lane in Marlborough Township, Montgomery County;
  • Tuesday, March 26, through Thursday, March 28, Oxford Valley Road between Bedford Road and Coventry Road in Falls Township, Bucks County;
  • Tuesday, March 26, through Friday, March 29, Route 73 (Skippack Pike) between Mensch Road and Collegeville Road in Skippack Township, Montgomery County;
  • Tuesday, March 26, through Friday, March 29, Limestone Road between Route 41 (Gap Newport Road) and Southwood Road in New Garden Township, Chester County; and
  • Tuesday, March 26, through Friday, March 29, Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) between Sheehan Road and Skyview Lane in New Garden and Kennett townships, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
