Aqua Pennsylvania and PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility
Improvements in Delaware County

Aqua Pennsylvania and PECO Energy are planning weekday lane restrictions
next
week on four state highways in Delaware County, for utility improvements,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• Monday, May 22, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Springfield Road at Rively
Avenue
in Aldan and Collingdale boroughs, for water main installation;
• Monday, May 22, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Cedar Grove Road at Highland
Avenue
in Marple Township, for water main installation;
• Monday, May 22, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road)
between
Bella Vista Road and Dermond Road in Upper Darby Township, for water main
installation; and
• Monday, May 22, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) between
Winding
Way and Arco Drive in Newtown Township, for gas main installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas.

Aqua Pennsylvania and PECO Energy will complete these projects under a
PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
