Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week on I-76, I-95 and Aramingo Avenue for
Overhead Sign Inspections in Philadelphia

Lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 76, Interstate 95 and
Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia for overhead sign inspections, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Motorists are
advised
to allow extra time when traveling through these areas because slowdowns
will
occur.

Weather permitting, the schedule is:

• Monday, May 15, and Tuesday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left and
right
lane closures are scheduled at the eastbound Interstate 76 exit ramp to
northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard);
• Monday, May 15, and Tuesday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left and
right
lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-76 between the U.S. 1
and
Girard Avenue interchanges;
• Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left
and
right lane closures are scheduled on the northbound ramp from Interstate 95
to
Route 291 (Penrose Avenue);
• Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left
and
right lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the
Broad
Street/Pattison Avenue and Interstate 676 (Ben Franklin Bridge)
interchanges;
• Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left
and
right lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the
Allegheny Avenue/Castor Avenue and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges; and
• Friday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left and right lane closures are

scheduled on southbound Aramingo Avenue between Cumberland Street and
Girard
Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas
because slowdowns may occur.
