Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Two State Highways in Chester and Montgomery
Counties

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning lane restrictions next week on Route 252
(Valley
Forge Road) in Chester County, and Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road) in
Montgomery County, for water main installation and resurfacing operations,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• Sunday, May 7, through Wednesday, May 10, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 252 (Valley Forge Road) at the Sullivan

Road and Anthony Wayne Road intersections in Tredyffrin Township, Chester
County, for water main installation; and

• Sunday, May 7, through Friday, May 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00
PM to
5:00 AM, a single lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Park
Road) between County Line Road and South Trooper Road in Upper Merion
Township,
Montgomery County, for base repair, milling and paving operations.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
