U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled for
Resurfacing in Bristol Township, Bucks County

5/5/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13
(Bristol Pike) between Newportville Road and Route 413 (Veterans Highway)
in
Bristol Township, on Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 7:00 PM to

5:00 AM, for milling and paving operations as part of a $3 million project
to
resurface 6.7 miles of U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between the Philadelphia
County
line and Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Bucks County. The project is
scheduled
to be completed in summer 2017.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
zone.
The work schedule is dependent on the weather.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT will mill the existing roadway
surface
and repave the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal
the
roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.

James D. Morrissey, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the
$3,057,798 project which is financed with 100 percent state funds from Act
89,
the state's transportation plan.
