Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Bridge Inspections in
Montgomery County

5/12/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled on Route 320 (S. Gulph Road), U.S. 202
(DeKalb Pike), and DeKalb Pike in Montgomery County for bridge inspections,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, May 15, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to
close on southbound Route 320 (S. Gulph Road) between Trinity Road and
Gypsy
Lane in Upper Merion Township;
• Monday, May 15, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to
close on northbound Route 320 (S. Gulph Road) between Trinity Road and
Gypsy
Lane in Upper Merion Township;
• Thursday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to

close on northbound DeKalb Pike just south of the Dannehower Bridge in
Bridgeport Borough; and
• Friday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to
close
on southbound U.S. 202 (DeKalb Pike) just south of the Dannehower Bridge in

Bridgeport Borough.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. The schedules are dependent on the weather.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.
