I-476 Overnight Lane Closure Scheduled Next Week for ITS Installation in Delaware and Montgomery Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter a single lane closure in both directions on Interstate 476 between the Interstate 95 and Interstate 76 interchanges in Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Nether Providence, and Ridley townships, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, on Wednesday, March 13, and Thursday, March 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on Interstate 476 through the work area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
