I-76 West Lane Closure Scheduled Overnights Next Week for Geotechnical Operations in Lower Merion Township

​King of Prussia, PA – A single lane closure is scheduled on Interstate 76 (Schuykill Expressway) just west of the Gladwyne Interchange in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, on Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for geotechnical operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA application for iPhone and Android devices. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.
