PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Business U.S. 30, Route 401, Route 132 for Utility Improvements in Chester and Bucks Counties

PECO to Restrict Business U.S. 30, Route 401, Route 132 for Utility Improvements in Chester and Bucks Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning lane closures next week on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Route 4012 (Conestoga Road) in Chester County and Route 132 (Street Road) in Bucks County for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, July 8, through Thursday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) at 5th Avenue in the City of Coatesville, Chester County; 
  • Tuesday, July 9, through Friday, July 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Beth Circle in East Whiteland Township, Chester County; and
  • Tuesday, July 9, through Friday, July 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane closures are scheduled on Route 132 (Street Road) between Hoover Avenue and Eastview Avenue in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
