PECO to Restrict U.S. 30, U.S 1 Next Week for Utility Improvements in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning lane closures next week on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Radnor Township and U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Farm Road and Banbury Way; and
  • Tuesday, August 6, through Friday, August 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) at the intersection with Lansdowne Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete both projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
