West Chester Borough to Restrict Gay Street (Route 3) at Night Next Week for Roadway Repair

King of Prussia, PA – West Chester Borough is planning a single lane closure next week from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning on Gay Street (Route 3) at two locations for roadway repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

The work schedule is:
  • Sunday, July 7, through Wednesday, July 10, between Matlack Street and Walnut Street; and
  • Wednesday, July 10, through Friday, July 12, between High Street and Church Street.
  • Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. 

West Chester Borough will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
