SEPTA to Close Germantown Avenue Next Week for Track Removal, Paving in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – SEPTA is planning to close Germantown Avenue between Butler Street and Broad Street (Route 611) in Philadelphia on Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8 for trolley track removal and paving, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During construction, Germantown Avenue motorists will be directed to use 15th Street, Erie Avenue and Broad Street (Route 611). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. This operation is weather dependent.
