PECO Energy will restrict Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Hansen Road
and
Murphy Drive in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, on Friday, April
22
and Monday, April 25 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for gas service installation,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area
as
back-ups will occur. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

PECO Energy will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
