NWS Slight Chance for Severe Thunderstorms 4/25/16

The National Weather Service Mount Holly is providing information on the slight risk for severe thunderstorms across portions of our region today. Chester County is currently under the Slight category meaning scattered severe storms are possible.

Hazard type: The primary threat will be damaging winds, with a secondary threat of large hail.

Where: The highest risk looks to be from Philadelphia to the south.

When: Although showers and thunderstorms are already moving across portions of our region, the primary threat for severe storms looks to be in the late afternoon through early evening across southeastern PA
