Nighttime Lane Closures in Philadelphia for Bridge Joint Sealing

Nighttime travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95, Interstate
76,
84th Street and Market Street in Philadelphia for bridge deck sealing, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The weather-dependent work scheduled is:

• On Monday, April 25, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed on
southbound Interstate 95 between Enterprise Avenue and the Philadelphia
International airport;
• On Monday, April 25, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed on
westbound 84th Street between Bartram Avenue and Crane Street;
• On Tuesday, April 26, through Thursday, April 28, one lane will be closed
on
eastbound Interstate 76 between U.S.1 (City Avenue) and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt
Expressay); and
• On Tuesday, April 26, through Thursday, April 28, one lane will be closed
on
westbound Market Street between Front Street and Chestnut Street.

This operation is part of PennDOT's $2.5 million project to repair bridge
decks
and seal joints on 16 bridges in Philadelphia to help preserve and maintain
the
bridges.

Neshaminy Constructors, Inc. of Feasterville, Pa., is the general
contractor on
the $2,567,020 project that is financed with 100 percent federal funds.

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and

to more than 770 traffic cameras.
