Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming, Brushing Operations in Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways will be restricted next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties for tree trimming and brushing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Finland Road between Miller Road and Gerryville Pike in Upper Hanover and Marlborough townships, Montgomery County for brushing.
  • Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5, left lane closures are scheduled on Bustleton Avenue between Benton Street and Strahle Street in Philadelphia for tree pruning;
  • Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Ridley Creek Road between Chapel Hill Road and Steeplechase Drive in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County for brushing;
  • Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Rose Tree Road between Hunt Club Lane and Ridley Creek Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County for tree pruning;
  • Tuesday, March 5, through Friday, March 8, left lane closures are scheduled on Henry Avenue between Monastery Avenue and Wigard Avenue in Philadelphia for tree pruning; and
  • Wednesday, March 6, through Friday March 8, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Barndt Road between Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike) and Route 563 (Ridge Road) in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County for brushing.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur during these operations. All scheduled operations are weather dependent.
