I-95, I-476, Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – Overnight periodic lane closures are scheduled on several state highways including Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 in Delaware County, on Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations include:

  • I-95 North and South between the Delaware state line and Philadelphia County line in Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester, and Ridley townships, and the City of Chester;
  • I-476 North and South between the U.S. 1 and I-95 interchanges in Ridley, Nether Providence, and Marple townships;
  • U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike/Media Bypass) North and South between the I-476 Interchange  and Creek Road in Marple, Upper Providence, Middletown, Concord, and Chadds Ford townships; and
  • Baltimore Avenue between U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) and the I-476 Interchange in Middletown and Nether Providence townships, and Media Borough.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
