Route 29 (State Road) to Close Saturday for Pipe Replacement in Schuylkill Township, Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – Route 29 (State Road) is scheduled to close between Creek Road and Pothouse Road in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, on Saturday, April 27, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

During this operation, motorists will be directed to use Charlestown Road and Pothouse Road to access Route 29 (State Road). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. 

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
