PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 55 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 55 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the Philadelphia region. The roadways include:

Bucks County

  • Route 32 (River Road) in Tinicum, Plumstead, Solebury townships;
  • Route 113 (Souderton Road) in Hilltown Township;
  • Route 412 (Geigel Hill Road) in Tinicum Township;
  • South Main Street in Perkasie Borough;
  • Allentown Road in West Rockhill Township;
  • Fleecydale Road in Solebury Township;
  • Callowhill Road in New Britian, Hilltown townships;
  • Stump Road in Hilltown Township;
  • Hilltown Pike in Hilltown Township;
  • Tohickon Hill Road in Plumstead Township;
  • Bristol Road in Warrington Township;
  • Pennsbury Road in Falls Township;
  • Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough; and
  • Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township.

Chester County

  • U.S. 1 (Kennett Oxford Bypass) in Lower Oxford Township;
  • Business U.S. 30 in West Sadsbury Township;
  • Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in North Coventry Township;
  • Route 82 (Manor Road) in Wallace Township;
  • Route 841 (Chatham Road) in London Grove Township;
  • Route 896 (Newark Road) in Penn Township;
  • Pothouse Road in Schuylkill Township;
  • Art School Road in West Pikeland Township;
  • Hanover Street in North Coventry Township;
  • Harmonyville Road in South Coventry Township;
  • Moorehall Road in East Whiteland Township;
  • Upper Gulf Road in Tredyffrin Township;
  • Newtown Road in Easttown Township;
  • Sugartown Road in Willistown Township;
  • Ship Road in West Whiteland Township;
  • Old Eagle School Road in Tredyffrin Township;
  • King Road in West Whiteland, East Whiteland townships; and
  • Boot Road in East Goshen, West Whiteland township.

Delaware County

  • Interstate 95 in Tinicum, Upper Chichester townships;
  • Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Nether Providence, Radnor townships;
  • Route 352 (Edgemont Avenue) in Middletown Township, Brookhaven Borough;
  • Concord Road in Chester Township;
  • Bryn Mawr Avenue in Newtown, Radnor townships;
  • Lancaster Avenue in Radnor Township;
  • Bishop Hollow Road in Newtown, Upper Providence townships; and
  • Dilworthtown Road in Thornbury Township.


Montgomery County

  • U.S. 422 in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Limerick, Lower Pottsgrove townships;
  • Ridge Pike in Limerick Township;
  • Morris Road/Harrington Road in Lower Merion Township; and
  • Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township.

Philadelphia County

  • Interstate 76;
  • U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue);
  • Route 73 (Cottman Avenue);
  • Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue/Welsh Road);
  • Broad Street (Route 611);
  • Ridge Avenue;
  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway;
  • Cobbs Creek Parkway;
  • Kelly Drive;
  • Fountain Green Drive;
  • Marshall Road;
  • Delaware Avenue;
  • 65th Street; and
  • Grays Ferry Avenue.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on "Submit Roadway Feedback."
