PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Byberry Road, Route 63, MacDade Boulevard for Utility Improvements in Montgomery and Delaware Counties

PECO to Restrict Byberry Road, Route 63, MacDade Boulevard for Utility Improvements in Montgomery and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning a single lane closure next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Byberry Road in Lower Moreland Township and Route 63 (Old Welsh Road) in Abington Township, Montgomery County, and MacDade Boulevard in Collingdale Borough, Delaware County, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, April 29, Byberry Road at Hale Road;
  • Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, Route 63 (Old Welsh Road) between Huntingdon Road and Sybil Lane; and
  • Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, MacDade Boulevard between Upland Terrace and Oak Lane.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
