PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 1, Germantown Pike Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Sign Inspections in Bucks and Montgomery Counties

U.S. 1, Germantown Pike Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Sign Inspections in Bucks and Montgomery Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled next week on U.S. 1 in Bucks County and Germantown Pike in Montgomery County for sign inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, April 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between Lincoln Highway and U.S. 13 in Falls Township, Bucks County;
  • Tuesday, April 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between Business U.S. 1 and the Interstate 295 Interchange in Middletown Township, Bucks County;
  • Tuesday, April 23, and Wednesday, April 24, from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Germantown Pike between Chemical Road and Walton Road in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County;
  • Wednesday, April 24, and Thursday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between Route 132 (Street Road) and Business U.S. 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships, Bucks County; and
  • Thursday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between Lincoln Highway and U.S. 13 in Falls Township, Bucks County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All activities are weather dependent.
