PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 55 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 55 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the Philadelphia region. The roadways include:

Bucks County

  • Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike) in Lower Southampton Township;
  • Bridgetown Pike in Northampton, Middletown townships;
  • Galloway Road in Bensalem Township;
  • Blooming Glen Road in Hilltown Township;
  • Deep Run Road in Bedminster Township;
  • Elephant Road in Bedminster Township;
  • Dark Hollow Road in Bedminster Township;
  • Edgely Road in Bristol Township;
  • Mill Creek Road in Falls Township;
  • Geigel Hill Road in Tinicum Township;
  • Hilltown Pike in Hilltown Township;
  • Tohickon Hill Road in Plumstead Township; and
  • Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township.

Chester County

  • Route 29 (Moorehall Road) in East Whiteland Township;
  • Route 113 (Kimberton Road) in East Pikeland Township;
  • Route 841 (Chesterville Road) in Elk, Franklin townships;
  • Pothouse Road in Schuylkill Township;
  • Church Road in Charlestown Township;
  • Media Road in East Nottingham Township;
  • Hanover Street in North Coventry Township;
  • Harmonyville Road in Warwick Township;
  • Pikeland Road in Charlestown Township;
  • Upper Gulph Road in Tredyffrin Township; and
  • Newtown Road in Easttown Township.

Delaware County

  • Interstate 95 in Ridley Township;
  • U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Springfield Township, Chester Heights Borough;
  • U.S. 202 in Concord Township;
  • Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Nether Providence and Radnor townships;
  • Blueball Avenue in Upper Chichester Township;
  • Eagle Road in Haverford Township; and
  • Dilworthtown Road in Thornbury Township.

Montgomery County

  • Interstate 476 in Plymouth, Lower Merion townships;
  • U.S. 422 in Pottstown, Limerick townships;
  • Route 309 (Fort Washington Expressway) in Cheltenham, Springfield, Upper Dublin townships;
  • Ridge Pike in Pottstown, Limerick townships; and
  • Morris Road/Harrington Road in Lower Merion Township.

Philadelphia County

  • Interstate 95;
  • Route 73 (Cottman Avenue);
  • Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue/Welsh Road);
  • Broad Street (Route 611);
  • State Road;
  • Princeton Avenue;
  • Torresdale Avenue;
  • Veree Avenue;
  • Rising Sun Avenue;
  • Tacony Street;
  • Adams Avenue;
  • Levick Street;
  • Willits Road;
  • Henry Avenue;
  • Wissahickon Avenue;
  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway;
  • Cobbs Creek Parkway;
  • Kelly Drive;
  • Fountain Green Drive;
  • Marshall Road; and
  • 65th Street.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on "Submit Roadway Feedback."
