PECO Energy Planning Lane Closures on Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane closures on several state highways in Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23, on Bristol Road between Scott Drive and Hilltop Drive in Upper Southampton and Northampton townships, Bucks County;
  • Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26, on Mill Road between Corbett Drive and Bethel Road in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County;
  • Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26, on MacDade Boulevard between Upland Terrace and Oak Lane in Darby Township and Collingdale Borough, Delaware County;
  • Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26, on Ridge Pike between Pechin Mill Road and Crosskeys Road in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Wednesday, April 24, through Friday, April 26, on Byberry Road between at Hale Road in Lower Moreland Towship, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
