PennDOT - District 6 News: I-95, U.S. 1, U.S. 30 Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail Maintenance in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester Counties

I-95, U.S. 1, U.S. 30 Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail Maintenance in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95, U.S. 1 and U.S. 30 in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester counties for guide rail repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, August 27, through Thursday, August 30, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and The Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges in Philadelphia and Bensalm Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, August 27, through Friday, August 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on the ramp to U.S. 1 from Route 10 (Limestone Road) in Lower Oxford Township, Chester County; and
  • Monday, August 27, through Friday, August 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Route 29 (Morehall Road) and Moreland Road in East Whiteland and Willistown townships, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
