Route 320 (Gulph Road) Closed for Roadway Repairs in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County

King of Prussia, PA – Route 320 (Gulph Road) remains closed between Trinity Lane and Upper Gulph Road/Old Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, due to undermining and pavement damage resulting from flooding on Monday, August 13, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The road is expected to reopen in early September.

Maintenance crews are nearly finished with repairs to a short section of the damaged pavement. Work to repair the larger section of the undermined road alongside Gulph Creek is expected to be completed the first week of September, weather permitting.

During the around-the-clock closure, Route 320 (Gulph Road) motorists are being directed to use Trinity Lane, Swedeland Road, Route 23 (Schuylkill River Road/Front Street) and Matsonford Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather dependent.
