PennDOT - District 6 News: Woodhaven Road (Route 63), I-95 Overnight Lane Closures for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

Woodhaven Road (Route 63), I-95 Overnight Lane Closures for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Woodhaven Road (Route 63) and Interstate 95 will be restricted at night next week in Philadelphia and Bucks counties for guide rail repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Sunday, August 19, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to close on westbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Franklin Mills Boulevard in Bensalem Township, Bucks County and Philadelphia;
  • Monday, August 20, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to close on eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) between Franklin Mills Boulevard and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Philadelphia and Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, August 20, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to close on southbound I-95 between State Road and Bridge Street in Philadelphia;
  • Tuesday, August 21, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to close on northbound I-95 between the Allegheny and Aramingo Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia; and
  • Wednesday, August 22, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to close on southbound I-95 between the Girard Avenue and Callowhill interchanges in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the Woodhaven Road (Route 63) and I-95 work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
