Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations in Delaware County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28, on Baltimore Avenue between Burmont Road and Jackson Street in Clifton Heights and Lansdowne boroughs;
- Wednesday, August 29, on State Road between Old Mill Drive and Old State Road in Upper Providence Township; and
- Thursday, August 30 and Friday, August 31, on Bethel Road between Chichester Avenue and Route 261 (Foulk Road) in Upper Chichester and Bethel townships.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
