PennDOT - District 6 News: Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Boot Road and Newtown Road Next Week for Maintenance Operations in Chester and Delaware Counties

Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Boot Road and Newtown Road Next Week for Maintenance Operations in Chester and Delaware Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Boot Road in Chester County and Newtown Road in Delaware County next week for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on Boot Road between Quarry Road and Copeland School Road in East Caln and East Bradford townships, Chester County, for shoulder ditching; and
  • Monday, August 27, through Friday, August 31, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Newtown Road between Conestoga Road and Darby Paoli Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County, for patching operations.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
