Swinehart Road to Close Next Week for Maintenance Operations in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – A closure and detour on Swinehart Road in Chester County and lane restrictions on Gulph Creek Road in Delaware County will be in effect next week from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, August 27, through Thursday, August 30, Swinehart Road is scheduled to close between Reeceville Road and Culbertson Run Road in West Brandywine Township, Chester County, for base repair. During the daytime closure, Swinehart Road motorists will be directed to use Reeceville Road, Route 82 (Manor Road), Culbertson Run Road and U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone; and
- Monday, August 27, through Friday, August 31, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Gulph Creek Road between County Line Road and King of Prussia Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County, for roadway repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
