Bethlehem Pike, Byberry Road Restricted Next Week for ADA Curb Ramp Installation in Montgomery County

King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter periodic lane closures on Bethlehem Pike and Byberry Road in Montgomery County, on Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for ADA curb ramp installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations include:

• Bethlehem Pike and Dager Road in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County; and
• Byberry Road and Warminster Road in Hatboro Borough, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.

Work under this improvement project is part of PennDOT's 'Green Light-Go' initiative, Pennsylvania's Municipal Signal Partnership Program designed to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals located in Pennsylvania.

Armour and Sons Electric, Inc. of Langhorne, Bucks County, is the general contractor on the $2,495,110 improvement project which is financed with 50 percent sate and 50 percent local funds.
