PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility Improvement in Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions on several state highways in Delaware County, for utility improvement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, shoulder and lane closures are scheduled on Radnor Chester Road between King of Prussia Road and Raider Road in Radnor Township, for trench work;
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on Darby Road between Coopertown Road and Marple Road in Haverford Township, for utility restoration;
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, flagging operations are scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Darby Road and Cedar Grove Road in Haverford and Marple townships, for test hole work;
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, October 4, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled on Ardmore Avenue between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Haverford Road in Haverford and Lower Merion townships, for utility restoration; and
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, October 11, flagging operations are scheduled on Garnet Mine Road between Plaza Drive and McCann Farm Drive in Bethel Township, for gas main installation.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
