PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 202, Route 896, Route 10 Lane Closures Next Week for Maintenance Operations in Chester County

U.S. 202, Route 896, Route 10 Lane Closures Next Week for Maintenance Operations in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – Single lane closures are scheduled next week on U.S. 202, Route 896 (Newark Road) and Route 10 (Limestone Road) in Chester County for various maintenance activities, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Sunday, September 29, through Thursday, October 3, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between Britons Bridge Road and U.S. 422 in Birmingham, Thornbury, West Goshen, East Whiteland and Tredyffrin townships for crack sealing;
  • Monday, September 30, and Tuesday, October 1, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 896 (Newark Road) between Homeville Road and Creek Road in Upper Oxford Township for milling; and
  • Tuesday, October 2, through Friday, October 4, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Route 926 (Street Road) and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in Upper Oxford and West Fallowfield townships for milling.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
