I-95 South Double Lane Closure at Night Next Week for Resurfacing in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – Southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges in Bristol and Bensalem townships, Bucks County on Monday, September 30, through Friday, October 4, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays are expected.  All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.

The work is part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships. The entire project is expected to be completed later this fall.

James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the $36,595,236 project, which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.
