SEPTA to Restrict Germantown Avenue Next Week for Concrete Repair in Chestnut Hill

King of Prussia, PA – SEPTA is planning single lane closures next week on Germantown Avenue between Bethlehem Pike and Gravers Lane in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia for concrete repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

  • Tuesday September 10, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Germantown Avenue will be reduced to a single lane with flagging between Bethlehem Pike and Evergreen Avenue; and
  • Thursday, September 12, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Germantown Avenue will be reduced to a single lane with flagging between Gravers Lane and Highland Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
