East Whiteland Township to Restrict Swedesford Road Weekdays for Storm Sewer Improvement
King of Prussia, PA – East Whiteland Township is planning a single lane closure on eastbound Swedesford Road between Liberty Boulevard and Valley Stream Parkway in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, beginning Monday, September 23, for storm sewer improvement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the lane closure will be in place weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through mid-November.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
East Whiteland Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
