Lane Restrictions Scheduled Tuesday on Route 452 (Pennell Road) in Delaware

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 452 (Pennell Road) between Mount
Road
and Glendale Boulevard in Middletown and Aston townships, Delaware County,
on
Tuesday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for survey work, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. Traffic will be
controlled by flagging.

Route 452 (Pennell Road) motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling through the construction area. The operation is contingent on the

weather.

The work is part of a $6.6 million improvement project by Delaware County
to
construct a multi-use pedestrian trail with roadway crossings along the
Chester
Creek Pedestrian Trail in Aston and Middletown townships. The project is
scheduled to be completed in late fall 2016.
